Introduction

The Enveritas Design System is a collection of principles, guidelines, standards and recommendations for designing Enveritas’ products and deliverables. The Enveritas Design System aims at providing a unified visual language to build cohesive, usable and efficient experiences.

Inspiration

There are many great design systems publicly available, each of which have different levels of complexity and details depending on the specific needs of the organization. We take a lot of inspiration from GitHub’s Primer Design System which is comprehensive yet straightforward.

Unified experience

Enveritas’ products have been built in the startup phase of the organization. Along the way, different people with varying preferences and opinions have built different sections of the applications, leading to different styles, patterns and experiences across the applications. From a user perspective this can lead to confusion and frustration. The aim of the Enveritas Design System is to provide engineers with better guidelines on how to provide a unified experience across products so that users can work efficiently with the software.
